Last_Section_of_Roof_to_Build-01.jpg
Oooopps.. forgot a Hole73 viewsThis is the last section of roof that needs to be built. The last 32 square feet that needs to be finished. You can see the truss extensions under the strapping. The sheathing is Douglas Fir 1/2" 4'x10' sign faces. I like recycling a lot.Rudi

Pole_Barn___Shop-03.jpg
Hmm.. How to Get in???67 viewsWith the new doors under the Green Tarp, I should be able to get into the Cabinet Shop a lot easier now than previously. You can see the screen door still on the North Wall. That will be framed in and a casement window I hope will be in place.

Shop & Pole Barn from the Dining Room Doors67 viewsYou can just see the one tarp we were able to put up last night before it got too slippery. Two rows of sheathing are on the roof.. strapping is up to the old propane furnace chimney.Rudi

West_Wall_Almost_Sheathed-01.jpg
West Wall57 viewsThe West Wall is almost finished sheathing, just the peak of the gable left to sheath. These are the recycled 4'-0" x 10'-0" sheets of Douglas Fir that are from billboard sign faces. Already, the shop is about 10% warmer. The left over paper etc., will probably peel off over the winter.. and I will just have a bit of waste to pick up.Rudi

Cutting the Driveway72 viewsA couple years ago another company that did some work here ruined the driveway. So they had to fix it. Their operator lifted the driveway too high.. oh about 6 inches and the driveway became higher than the concrete floor of the shop. Oooops.... that means water problems....Rudi
