DTC lever.74 viewsThe lever on the hydraulic system, basically a shifter pinned to a straight bar that is pinned to the spring-return open center hydraulic valve, shown in other pics. If I don't keep the linkage greased, it doesn't return to center on its own, and will stall the tractor. Note the broken shifter #2 on right, and the beefy helper spring.glassnegmanNov 04, 2005

Converted Quadrant74 viewsThis is the converted quadrant from the original master control lever, rather tastefully done, I might add. My DTC has a super-heavy assist spring despit its rather beefy hydraulics.glassnegmanNov 04, 2005

close up of DTC valve, reservoir, and cylinder77 viewsThis is a close up view of the beefy hydraulics on my cub, something I call the "Don't Touch Control" or DTCglassnegmanNov 04, 2005

Grille ornament71 viewsA rather tasteful addition by a previous owner, the script "international" emblem was added, using appropriate clips behind the screen and all!!glassnegmanNov 04, 2005

remains of gear shifter #253 viewsThis is gear shifter #2 broken at the retainer pin. you can see the relatively small amount of healthy metal that was holding it together....such a shame, it shifted so nice about 4 times.glassnegmanNov 04, 2005

complete don't touch control system67 viewsthis is my hydraulic system, euphemistically called the don't touch control system. it seems to consist of the IHC TC pump, a long 2" cylinder, a 2 gal tank, an open center valve, and a confusing array of copper tubingglassnegmanNov 04, 2005

My Dash, including dashlight60 viewsThis is my dash, from the 49, showing the barebulb dashlight in the fuseholder hole. I don't know if you can see the scratchmarks, but it would appear something fit over the top of the bare bulb, from the front side.glassnegmanNov 04, 2005

Rear of dashlight thingy, showing bracket61 viewsI have a little dashlight that appears rather professionally installed, as you can see from this pic of the bracket in rear of dash. Jim Becker says the hole was intended for the fuse holder, which was not installed in 49. models, even though the dash with the hole was used since mid 49. glassnegmanNov 04, 2005

Confusing Piping on DTC66 viewsThis shows the rather bizarre piping arrangement on what I call my "don't touch control" systemglassnegmanNov 04, 2005
